If you ask for help, we collect what you tell us, usually a first name and a way to reach you. If you donate, we collect what we need to acknowledge and route your gift. If you volunteer, we collect what we need to find you a good fit.
We don't sell or share your information.
We don't sell donor, volunteer, or help-request information to anyone. We don't share it publicly. Volunteer and help-request details are visible only to authorized administrators.
Asking for help doesn't put you on a mailing list.
Submitting a help request never subscribes you to promotional email. We'll only contact you about your request.
We don't store payment card information.
Monetary donations are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. We only keep a record of the gift itself.
We protect people receiving help.
We don't identify people receiving assistance in our stories or impact records unless they've explicitly given permission. Device recipients are not turned into a marketing database.
Your rights.
You can ask us what information we hold about you and request that we correct or delete it. Contact us through the contact page to do so.
